Quote UnQuote - Port Security

"... the Democrats' plan is politically motivated.."
Peter King, 4/25/06 Newsday

''Any implication that anyone on either side of the aisle is not concerned about homeland security, is not concerned about the loss of human life, it demeans and cheapens the debate,''
Peter King, 4/26/06 New York Times

All Pete King cares about is himself. When are the democrats going to wake up and run a viable candidate to defeat him? It's such a same no one has stepped to the plate. It's too late for 06. Must we suffer through two more years of his arrogance?

Nassau County Legislator Deve Denenberg will be running.
Denenberg got 68% of the vote in his republican-leaning district.
His opponent ran a nasty campaign but Denenberg still won.

Then why hasn't he announced? What is he waiting for? Has he raised any money? King has $1.2 million in the bank. Can Denenberg raise $100,000 a month or more. I don't think so.

Denenberg is announcing and he's raised considerable money already.

He doesn't even have a federally registered PAC. What is he waiting for? He should have announced last year. He will never raise the kind of money needed to run a real campaign. It really is a shame the Democrats never try to unseat King.

You don't need a PAC to run for congress. I love how much attention this site is getting.

King must be shitting his pants.

i worked for King and you are wrong. You are just angry of the work he has done and the care he shows. Mind you i have lived in the district, and though i am in college now, i still keep track of what is going on. I will be proud to vote for King.

What is wrong?
That he speaks out of both sides of his mouth?
That he has a poor record?
That he is thin-skinned?
That he gets most of his money from PACs?
That the more people learn about his record, th eless they like him?
